Thanks Helen for sending the video, great discussion….all what we have been saying for the last 15 years or so, only wish the Dental Schools could get on board. The reality is unless things change in the Dental Schools from an educational point of view, this kind of intervention, which is so badly needed, will take years to hit the general population. The Academia people need to listen though, because social media is waking up the Mums and Dad’s everywhere who are demanding this kind of service for there children. The need for change is urgent, children’s health is at stake.

Well, I think that change will come by public demand. Once dental practitioners see a new market interest will ncrease. The group that Biju has got together is actually being driven by speech therapists. We are now working together to drive this change forward. I hear that you had an excellent course last weekend. Early intervention is gaining credibility and there are many examples of multifocused symposiums taking place.
