This event took place in the Barber-Surgeons’ Hall, Monkwell Square, London.
King Henry VIII gave the charter to celebrate the Act of Union between the Company of Barbers and the Guild or Fellowship of Surgeons in 1540 so it is fitting that the launch of this college should take place in this auspcious building.
