3rd presentation to final year students at King’s Dental Institute, Guy’s campus.
I have been invited to repeat my presentation again next year.
8 May, 2017 – King’s Dental Institute, Guy’s Campus, University of London. 3rd visit. By kind invitation of the Dean, Professor Dianne Rekow and the Associate Dean, Professor Mark Woolford, director of the Sleep Disorders Clinic at Guy’s Hospital. Presentation to final year students ” Exploring the Wider Role of Dentistry – The Effect of Jaw Problems on the Rest of the Body.” Two sections: Airway & Sleep Disorders, Temporo-Mandibular Joint Dysfunction and Posture. (ii) Movement Disorders and New Orthodontic Treatments.
British Society for Ecological Medicine
Well, despite some misgivings from the Orthodontic Department, I have just been invited to give my presentation again to the final year dental students of King’s Dental Institute next May. Perhaps the powers that be are beginning to understand the wider role of dentistry and its potential to improve general health.
….and now our Editor of the BSSCMD journal, Cranio UK, has forwarded information about a course to be held by the British Society for Ecological Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians, London, 25 November entitled “Putting Oral Health at the Heart of Medicine” and two of the seven presenters are members of BSSCMD – Patrick Grossmann and Mike White.
