The Bare Foot Club, European School of Osteopathy, Maidstone
3 December 2013. “The Effect of Jaw Problems on the Rest of the Body”. I began this presentation with a 10 minute video clip which showed how Dr Brendan Stack was helping patients with Tourettes and other movement disorders by changing the jaw relationship. This was followed by a Power Point presentation entitled ” The Osteopathy/ Temporomandibular Joint connection”.
The second part of the presentation started with a 5 minute video clip of another of Dr Stack’s patients who had been confined to a wheel chair following a road traffic accident.
The final part of the presentation was entitled ” The Osteopathy/ Orthodontic connection” and the aim of this was to demonstrate to the students how to recognise cranial and jaw imbalance at an early stage of development.
