“The Effect of Jaw Problems on the Rest of the Body”
30 students attended this presentation which was followed by a lively questions session. Several students had already been introduced to the functional approach to malocclusion so this was an opportunity for me to build on their knowledge. A few members of staff and some students were unable to attend and so a request has been made to repeat this presentation sometime in the autumn term.

” The Osteopathy/Orthodontic Connection” and “The Osteopathy/ Temporomandibular Connection”. Carole Meredith, Clinical Tutor at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, asked me to share the meeting with her. This was attended by 30 delegates and a lively discussion followed each of my morning sessions. Carole took the afternoon sessions and covered various cranial aspects connected with malocclusion and orthodontic treatment. I think that this meeting really illustrated the benefit to both the patient and the practitioner of an integrated approach to treatment.
